The following warranty information applies to all Athlon, Pentax, Vixen and Accura optics purchased from Primal Hunter.
Warranty for Hardware
Primal Hunter warrants to the original end user ("Customer") that Product purchased from Primal Hunter will be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use, for generally one (1) year, unless otherwise advised at the time of purchase, and batteries for which ninety (90) days shall apply, unless such warranty period has been extended by Primal Hunter, and provided any and all operating and maintenance instructions are strictly respected, in particular in case of extreme and/or continuous applications/use of the Product. The warranty period begins on the proved purchase date (or if applicable, date of delivery or date of acceptance report). Primal Hunter obligation under this warranty shall be, at Primal Hunter sole option and expense, to replace or repair the Product or part, or refund the purchase price paid for the Product
Warranty for Software
For "System Software" (defined as operating software and/or firmware necessary for switching on and running the Product), all provisions contained in this Warranty shall apply as for hardware. With respect to "Application Software" (defined as preinstalled or loadable on-board software and/or office or PC-based software for particular operations of the Product and/or data), the warranty provisions contained herein do not apply
Obtaining Warranty Service
Customer must contact Primal Hunter within the applicable warranty period, with dated proof of original purchase from Primal Hunter and a description of the defect will be required
Warranty Exclusive
Primal Hunter shall not be liable if the alleged defect or malfunction was caused by Customer's or any other person's misuse, neglect, improper installation, unauthorized attempts to open, repair or modify the Product, inadequate maintenance, disregard of operating instructions, excessive load or stress, normal wear and tear, or any other cause beyond the range of its intended use, by accident, fire, or other hazards. This warranty does not cover physical damage to the Product or malfunctions resulting from the use of the Product in conjunction with any sort of ancillary or peripheral equipment
Warranty on Service and Repairs
Service and Repairs performed by any of our service departments have a 90 day warranty covering defects in materials and/or workmanship
If the repaired product is still under its original warranty, then the repair warranty is 90 days or to the end of the original warranty end date, whichever is longer
Replacement products provided as a repair option will only have a 90 day warranty
Limitation of Liability
Primal Hunter also excludes any liability, whether based in contract or tort (including negligence), for incidental, consequential, indirect, special, or punitive damages of any kind, or costs of procurement of substitute products by customer, or for the loss of revenue or profits, loss of business, loss of information or data, or other information of financial loss arising out of or in consequence with the sale, installation, maintenance, use, performance, failure, or interruption of this product. Primal Hunter limits its liability to replacement, repair, or refund of the purchase price paid
Parallel and Grey Imports
Primal Hunter is an authorised Australian retailer for numerous brands including: Athlon and more. Primal Hunter acquires their supply from the sole authorised Australian distributor (C.R.Kennedy & Company Pty Ltd) of numerous brands including: Athlon and more.
Primal Hunter work with C.R.Kennedy & Company Pty Ltd who have fully authorized workshops and factory trained technicians to support products C.R.Kennedy imports from their suppliers.
Parallel and Grey Imports are described as product imported directly into a country by a company or persons other than the manufacturer's authorised distributor in that country.

Please Note:
- Primal Hunter does not provide any warranty or guarantee for parallel /grey imports. We will not honour any warranty or guarantee supplied by parallel importers. This includes items purchased on eBay or from other international websites.
- Products sourced from some other countries, including batteries and chargers, may not meet Australian electrical standards. Many plugs will require an adaptor. Adaptors supplied by parallel /grey importers are often not electrically approved. All electrical devices sold in Australia must meet Australian specifications and be registered.
- In many instances products supplied for Australia have special modifications for the Australian market. If you purchase parallel grey imported product you risk purchasing product that may not easily work under Australian conditions.
- Primal Hunter operate in a global market place. The lines we represent in Australia are globally competitive in price. The savings by purchasing from parallel/grey importers are usually non-existent or very small. The risks are great.
- Primal Hunter reserves the right to refuse the repair of Parallel and Grey Imports
